The construction of our fiber optic cable is agreed by the local government. So we can start digging on 12 April. The construction is going to take 3 days.

Our electrician finished the first part of the power grid. The electrician will be back to finalize the installation when the raised floor is installed.

Today we got the raised floor delivered to our datacenter.

All parts for the new power grid have been received. This includes all cables, switches and other parts. For the rack sockets we are going to implement the IEC 60309 standard.

Because of the temperature (-5 degree Celsius) and frost, the installation of the fiber optic cable outside is delayed. The new expected delivery date is end of may.

We planned with our electrician what our power grid is going to look like. Also we discussed how every rack is going to be connected and metered.

We are going to create a time-lapse movie of the construction of our datacenter. Therefor we placed a Axis camera which is going to take a picture every minute.

We tested different raised floors and watched wat was suitable for us. Our raised floor is going to be 30 cm high and is going to be glowed to the concrete floor.
